We produce a variety of video content, all in-house. This means we have a tonne of gear, ideas and the know-how to cater for small to large production shoots. We’re constantly on the hunt for ways to re-purpose or re-appropriate content for a new audience or purpose. From explainers to beautiful narrative-driven storytelling and everything in between, whatever story we tell, we make it meaningful.
The work done on a product, especially a film or broadcast program before full-scale production begins. Elements of video production such as the script, casting, location scouting, equipment and crew, and the shot list all happen during pre-production.
The stage where the ideas are free and flowing; the possibilities are endless. We marry concepts against budget and time considerations to produce the content in the way it's envisioned.
Any form of narrative is nothing without a good story. With the developed concept, our in-house copy team craft a script — the blueprint for your project — to ensure that we're hitting the right notes and saying the right thing. The script may have several iterations in order to find the right voice.
Storyboards take our racing minds and brings it to reality, breaking down the scenes shot-by-shot so we're all on the same page when we get into production and post-production. It provides a sneek peak for the less visually centred people to see what's in the making!
Sourcing talent is a huge part of our pre-production process. Reality is, internal staff don't always cut it — there's a reason talent are professionals. Off a pre-determined client brief, we cast actors and models for key roles, all the way through to crowds of extras, all while making sure we have licenced the right usages and oversee professional working obligations.
Many of our video shoots require locations, with a huge number needing multiple locations in a scheduled shoot day. We have various methods of sourcing great locations, from farms to inner city studios, with space for crew, client teams and talent to bond.
What’s a smooth running shoot without a well-oiled pre-production schedule? It’s all of the planning, scheduling and contingency work that goes into making things ‘just work’.

Internal broadcasts have been on the rise since brands realised they have a captive audience of potential advocates, waiting to be communicated to in a way that evokes feeling. We film interviews with staff and teams, tell stories through experiences, thread the narrative together across states and countries for different purposes.

The edit suite is where the magic happens and your story comes to life. We take the footage, catalogue it all and then start to piece the story together. With an existing storyboard this is a piece of of cake, but once we introduce interviews, there's a bit more slicing and dicing to tell a seamless story.
Once the final edit is locked off, we take it into colour grading. Depending on usage and outcomes, we have a tiered approached to colour editing. Sometimes we colour correct to bring out certain tones, but when the production value is high or shooting conditions varied on production days, we align the colours throughout.
After colour grading, we take the final edit into sound design. Here we often do pick ups, sound design for emphasis or sound editing. It's the final touches that make an edit pop.
We have on-site voice recording facilities which mean we can lay down base reads, record professional voice talent and do any pick ups with the same team. It also helps with speed and ease, especially last minute confidential content that needs to be finished, yesterday.
This is where the magicians in post-production bring the impossible to life. They make things that weren't there on shoot, appear! It's the cheery, on the top for visual development, helping to reinforce or focus on a key element of the storyline.
Here is when we finalise all of the content for its intended use. We keep the files on hand for 12 months to make sure the video works the way its meant to. We might also pick it back up for repurposing in the future.
